that would be what i am trying to do <g>.

iyo, is additional software required beyond what iomega tools provides? or are you suggesting a product put out by someone other than the storage medium vendor, say like by seagate?

one thing i have not tried is the restore feature. but i'm unclear on how to 'try it out' on a system that does not need restoring?

i recently read an article that said the software companies that fail to provide good old-fashioned instruction manuals with their products (due to cost cutting) are limiting the public's knowledge and use of the software to approximately 1/3 of the potential of the software. i can relate to that. often it's, "here you go", and "check the readme files for help". very inadequate, imo.
