But understand that posting here doesn't constitute any endorsement of GNET stock on the part of the reporters who do post here.

Ted,

I guess for the sake of anyone who is new to SI, I can understand why you would feel it necessary to offer that caveat. However, the seasoned memberships would intuitively understand that I was not seeking an endorsement of GNET simply because of SI, because SI and its quality community of investors existed long before GNET make the sensible decision to acquire it.

I was merely reflecting upon the preference of investment "notables" and business reporters to have a presence here. That presence reflects the reality that the cyber investing communities like SI are giving the analysts on the street a strong run for their money and democratizing the securities markets.

If GNET were to encounter hard times and Russell appeared on our air, he would get the same grilling as anyone else.. and I am sure he knows and respects that.

As he would justifiably deserve. And the SI community would expect no less than objective reporting on the issue.

The question I have for CNBC is just HOW the program managers determine which companies receive coverage and which do not. Of course, this is a question that can be asked of news organizations in their identification and coverage of ANY event, business or otherwise, that are determined "newsworthy".

I certainly hope that you won't allow your welcome presence here on SI to cause you to avoid covering the GNET story in order to be prevent any false sense of a conflict of interest (which I certainly don't feel you have).

All I think GNET shareholders ask is a fair shake. GNET will make its presence known with or without CNBC. It would just be nice not having any reason to criticize what many perceive as the disparity of coverage in the internet sector. And Paul Allen pumping $300 million into GNET is cause to pay attention to the company's future in and of itself.

Keep up the good work!!

Regards,

Ron
