We certainly disagree on Kosovo. The war is already lost. All NATO's objectives have failed, with the cleansing now complete. The next war, which Clinton was more than happy to start more than a week ago, purports to attempt to regain Kosovo for its former inhabitants and establish some sort of self governing. This requires our forces to invade Yugoslavia and somehow seize control. I, for one, do not believe there is any U.S. national interest at stake in such a mission. It is time to withdraw. I have made this view abundantly clear here and on the Kosovo thread, where Shemp is so fearful of wandering.
