So Riocan got its way with having a judge order RealFund to hold a meeting for its unitholders in a month's time. I cannot figure out if this push by Riocan is good for REI.UN unit holders. Edward Sonshine was indicating in an interview on CBC two days ago that they might sweeten the bid for RealFund if they got a good look at the books. I hope they don't end up paying TOO much. On a positive note, Riocan once again increased its monthly payout, now at 8.5 cents a month. The "dividend" has been increasing every three months for quite a while now. Not too shabby! Would appreciate any views..
