If share holder lawsuits slowed down acquisitions,
all m/a activity would cease!

As far as the trading halt...this is new ground for me too,
and I've got to admit that I do not like it. But the halt
isn't because of pending lawsuits...the halt is because
the auditor screwed the pooch. So the regional office
says let's do it this way...and the national guys, very late
in the game, you can't do it this way, you've got to do it
that way. Meantime, reporting is delayed, everybody
gets nervous, including the exchange. So, the exchange
says, "what's up?", of course you can't just TELL THEM,
you've got to clean up the mess and figure out what to tell
them and then do it. Sound like a reasonable scenario to me.

Bottom line, though, is that things will proceed to plan. The
brand's too good...
