Bulls - I am just passing by [i.e., I won't be parsing thru all the responses here,] sensationalism aside, telling like it is is a 2 edged sword. I don't think your "deranged person" needs to see what has transpired to "act out." The seed has been sown long ago. OTOH, this is a wake up call to society at large. I mean, one can make many hypotheses, but is Littleton an isolated case? Remember Arkansas? Remember the patricide case in Oregon. Keeping a hush hush will not make the problem to go away. Does that mean there won't be copycats? It is possible. But if we don't start a national debate, the disease will continue by other names.

If you want to be outraged, I heard on the radio this morning that NRA will not postpone or relocate its meeting in Denver, while most organizations [as unrelated as prof sport teams] have decided to timeout. The point: if you think this is serious, acting nothing has happened is too much of being an ostrich

I understand we have different opinions, but I thought you might want to see the flip side

best, Bosco
