Uproar Launches Across Europe
Worldwide Online Game Show Leader Offers 15 Sites in 11 Languages
NEW YORK, February 9, 1999 – Uproar, a leading entertainment company specializing in online game shows, today announced the launch of 15 “mini-sites” in 11 different languages. The sites will offer some of Uproar's most popular single-player games as well as a special version of the company's bingo game show, “Bingo Blitz.” The new “Bingo Blitz” will allow an unlimited number of contestants from 15 different countries competing simultaneously in their native tongues.
The new Uproar mini-sites have launched in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, France, Spain, Portugal, and Italy. These sites join the existing Uproar site in the United Kingdom ( HYPERLINK uproar.co.uk www.uproar.co.uk) and the recently launched Uproar Germany site ( HYPERLINK uproar.de www.uproar.de), which Uproar created in partnership with Bertelsmann Interactive Studios.

Uproar has already released a variety of game shows in languages other than English, including Spanish and Danish. The new sites, which can be viewed at www.euro.uproar.com, will be offered in 11 languages – German, Danish, English, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, Dutch, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian.
