LASIK at $1650? Wow. Didn't think I'd hear that for a while. I know there are a lot of lasers in SoCal... I should get my eyes examined more often than every 5 years, but since my refraction has been stable, I doubt I'd spend any more on eyeglasses, besides maybe a few frames/lens upgrades over 15 years. That's still nowhere near what LCAV sez eyeglasses can cost over 15 years. But I hear you.
