Chuck, Usually I do not have a problem with any of the women that I know and leaving the seat up. There was this house with the broken toilet seat a long long time ago... oh well, I'm not going to go there. Anyway, since you brought up the subject, I've always found that guys who do raise to seat up, get to see all of the stuff that is on the rim of the bowl. And since I am one of the few men in the world that actually wipe off the rim (at times) and I have noticed that women splatter on the rim more than men. It's just an observation, not a commentary. And with that, I'll go back to lurking, before I'm forced back. Jack
