I'm all for common-sense gun control. I have no problem with waiting periods or background checks etc. But in return let's get some clear and express language on the books that I may own guns, that I may keep them in perpetuity without taxation, that I may shoot and hunt with them and that I can bequeath them to my child or designated beneficiary. The moment gun control smacks of gun confiscation or ban, I get all soggy and hard to light.
