Rocket Technology a year away??

I thought they had a working model in the works from last year? And besides it is borrowed technoloogy from IBM. How much research/development is required for something that is already there?? Not much.

It was Iomega's stupid luck not to grabe this before Syquest. In my opinion, somebody at the Iomega wheel fell asleep. Will Iomega have to develop their 2 GB drive with all their resources?? Syquest saved a ton of development money by grabbing something that's already there.

Iomega has already captured the retail end with the Zip drives. The next battle frontier is the high-end corporate, graphics, users etc. Iomega has not addressed the oncoming DVD issue. Syquest has so if Iomega does not come up with any good news recently bearish short-term.
