wow, I am surprised to see so many posts on this board. Sorry I havent responded till now, but been on holiday for a few days...let me try to bring people up to speed...please take what I say with a grain of salt but I do feel it is accurate info, although the timing of PRs is sometimes off they do come out eventually...last I heard is that we should see the course and remainder of the field very soon...the course is as good as confirmed, but is awaiting finally paperwork...also all the players have been confirmed verbabally and will most likely be signed within the next week or so...I know its frustrating, but the timing of PRs is not entirely up to Damien, it must first be signed off by MRT, and so the delays do happen, but dont worry, the news will come. As for sponsors, word is that at least two sponsors are very interested in the top spots and hopefully we will see something in May regarding sponsorships...the last time I spoke to Damien he was very upbeat, and althought the news may not be out when you want, I do feel that when all is said and done there will be a flurry of releases, I am content to sit tight and wait it out..an announcement of a major player or sponsor could make this thing fly in a hurry...remember there should also be some announcements concerning celebs for the pro-am, so quite a bit of news is expected shortly...hang in there folks... |
