If AT&T gets MediaOne, it has major ownership of both @Home and Roadrunner. Merger is a given. Possible. But not a given. If they end up winning the bidding war (which is far from certain), AT&T would have to do a fair amount of negotiating to get this one past the FTC and FCC. It's possible they could trade the RR ownership with Comcast, letting it move to RR while MediaOne moves to @home. Microsoft has significant ownership of both Comcast and RoadRunner, which makes them a natural fit.
