Thanks, Scumbria. Joe, thanks for the reply and thoughts. Scumbria, your point is well taken....which is part of why I believe Joe's estimation of the "best-case" scenario, while reasonable, may be less than what's possible.
I've not pinned down the notion that Intel will have the level of integration and other features that M-3 is to have, nor what the ramifications of that difference may be. The initial introduction of M-3(Jalapeno) may well include an 800mhz version, for all I know. Also, it may come earlier than now expected(go ahead, laugh if y'all like). Also, if the M-3 design DOES have superior integration and cost factors, the NSM product may perform better at lower prices. Thoughts?
And Scrumbria, while Intel's performance may not be particularly impressive, still, is it not as good a performance as exists? That Intel has a history of delays with aggressive products remains a salient point, thanks.
