Hummingbird Communications Ltd. (HUMC), Toronto, said its results are according to U.S. generally accepted accounting principles.
The company said that, excluding the results of two acquisitions completed during the quarter, net income for the quarter was $6.5 million, or 42 cents a basic and diluted share.
According to Canadian GAAP, the company had net income of $3 million or 19 cents a basic share in the latest quarter, versus $1.4 million or 9 cents a year earlier. Net income for the six months was $6.2 million or 40 cents a basic share versus $9.3 million or 63 cents.
