Dan,

My point is that a well thought out Cyrix roadmap can be successful. Intel's design/engineering is no better than anyone else's, and Cyrix now has their own fabs.

All Cyrix needs is to purge themselves of the M1 mentality "we can execute more instructions per clock than Intel", and focus on MHz instead. Perhaps Jalapeno accomplishes that.
