Scumbria - <Merced? Camino? 8-way Xeon chipsets?>
Let's look at this list, shall we?
Merced - 64 bit architecture under development for Enterprise solutions. Intel yes, Cyrix no, AMD no.
Camino - Support of next generation DRAM architecture. Intel yes, Cyrix no, AMD no.
8 way Xeons (or any smp, for that matter), Intel yes, Cyrix no, AMD no. (These are doing a bang up business now, BTW.)
One could argue Scumbria it's easy to to take pot shots at a company that is developing industry leading solutions that slips. When Cyrix and AMD start developing large scale industry standard solutions, please let me know.
