Stan, I was not referring to you specifically, I hadn't read your post when I said that. But considering RIG traded over 2 million shares today, you would think that not everyone could be making the same mistake. After all, we are talking about institutions and brokers whose job it is to interpret earnings reports and buy or sell stocks for their clients. And I never said I was mistake-free, but the PR does say, twice, that it is 1998 earnings, and then does the subtraction for you so you can see it's 0.63, which can only be fom 1998 if 1999 earnings are 0.85 and the one-time charge is 0.14.

Anyway, the confusion should be cleared now, and I'm hoping to see 40 before too long. (but I'll be happy with 35 in the interim).
