Brad,

The article I referred was just printed this week by the associated press. It was talking about the past performance of the INS. They were not specific about the window of time during which the INS allowed 11,000 felons to become citizens. However, during the same period another 113,000 fingerprints were never checked due to poor quality - mostly smeared prints. Obviously, that's a lot more than a "stack forgotten in a secretary's drawer". If you assumed I was implying that any of these were from an IDX scanner that was not the case. Since it said "smeared" I concluded all these were rolled ink prints.

Do you know what the total number of Touchview units now owned by the INS. If I interpret the press release correctly, it appears they added 120 to whatever quantity they already have. I wonder what the final number will be? I says multiple units at each of 500 locations.
