That's part of the i2 strategy. They could earn more profit by adjusting their budgets, but they explicitly state they're not trying to increase margins right now. In particular they're taking advantage of a good hiring market to bring high quality people onto the payrolls. I agree fully with this strategy, and as an investor you should expect this to be the companies strategy for the near future. In the past several CCs they've said many times their goal is grow market share.

i2 is still not clear of the looming SAP threat, but growth like this helps diminish the threat.
