Heinz: There are a few factors. As I had reported about 4 weeks ago, I spent 1 1/2 days on the telephone and pieced together that there will probably be a buyout. However, the CEO left and the stock tumbled. Now who would buy a stock that was in jeopardy? And why would PTVL speak with suiters after its stock had taken a nosedive.
The first step in a case like this is to wait until the stock is revived somewhat. Now the sides are going to be ready once again. I spent another 1/2 hour today on the telephone and gathered that PTVL is becoming evermore profitable (or less unprofitable). Again, there is talk of a buyer at over $50. Nobody wanted to tell me who, but my guess is AMZN, AOL, or some other large internet presence.
It will happen. As long as this stock does not take a nosedive again, expect a buyout at a premium.
