Straight Up, I believe what he saying is that the same convertible shareholders have agreed to finance General Magic three times. This group does not include Microsoft.

The company continues to tell us that they believe the investors that have been buying their convertible shares are truly interested in General Magic and believe the company will be successful.

On the other hand, many people, rightly or wrongly, say that convertible shareholders are the reason why the share price has fallen due to short selling and other schemes that will allow them to get a greater percentage of stock when they convert their shares.

I don't know, but I would think the purpose of Mr. McCormick's statement is to say that General Magic feels these investors have shown continued interest in playing a part in General Magic's future. In other words, these investors are friends of the company.

Regards,

Mark
