Angel - The article on IBM said that they produced chips using XRL with a synchrotron. (I just tried to re-read the article and I can't access it for some reason -- I think the web is just too busy right now.) Only a very few large companies can afford a synchrotron, so if JMAR's point source is successful, it will not only be much, much smaller, but also less expensive to buy. This would mean it could be affordable and usable by many more companies. All of this depends on whether JMAR is successful -- so I'm not going to recommend what you should or shouldn't buy. That's your decision, however, IF they are successful, they have the potential of making a lot of money selling point source XRL devices.
