How good do you think the Phantom Menace is going to do? Want to put your money where your mouth is?

One of the bigger debate topics that's crossed dailysci-fi over the last month or so is whether the Phantom Menace is going to do better than Titanic or Jurassic Park 2. A lot of really confident people voted in favor or against Episode I, but now here's your chance to actually make some money on it.

Internet bookie Interops.com (www.intertops.co.at) has set odds on the Phantom Menace's opening weekend against the Lost World, which currently holds the record. It's clear where Interops thinks the money is because it's offering 1 to 20 odds in favor of TPM (you win $1 for ever $20 you put down), while Lost World's getting 17 to 1 odds ($17 won for $1 bet) if it keeps the record. Where do you think your money's best spend? The results will be based on the four-day opening weekend total.

Now let's see if that industry talk is actually worth anything...
