I just got off the phone with some contacts that know what the facts are concerning the Viagra body count. The information sportahype presented tonight is valid and correct! A broker friend of mine who has a lot of clients holding Vivus shares is going to be sending this information out to all the major news wires early in the morning. I have no idea if the important ones will produce press releases to the same effect. Seems to me like they have been sweeping all this Viagra blood under the rug for months and months now. Sooner or later the truth has to come out. This is big news so I suppose the wires that get this news will want to confirm it and then be the first to report it.

It just proves to me what I and others have been saying all along....that Viagra had no business getting fast track approval without first studying the at risk group. Thanks to Pfizer's political clout in Washington the politicians and not the Medical Advisers have called the shots concerning Viagra. Too bad for all the guys who died or had heart attacks. I think the stench of that class action lawsuit that I have been predicting from long ago will soon show its ugly head.

IMO this news will be good for us Vivus longs. It will probably result in some Viagra patients to stop taking Viagra and look for alternatives. It will also provide a wake up call for all PCPs who have been prescribing Viagra. Many may now be interested in seeking alternatives and I am sure many still do not know about MUSE.

I think this may give Vivus a wonderful opportunity to capitalize on some low cost effective marketing such as sending out mailings to the PCPs as I suggested before which they did once before a very long time ago and they should advertise in the medical journals such as the Journal of the American Medical Association.

One other point I have confirmation on. Vivus expects to have the patent on the premature ejaculation drug some time next week. They should announce it as soon as they confirm that it has been granted.

And the best news yet is that we should be seeing some new and positive brokerage coverage of Vivus in the very near future.

As far as I'm concerned the newbies here that got in at a very low price and bailed today AND posted all their bs here can kiss off.....you know who you are......congradulations on your TRADE and goodbye!

As far as the shorts go.......well you know that I can't say what I really think without getting kicked off SI.
