I misunderstood you then...I thought you couldn't get the Aopen to boot... no more tears for you then<gg>

It was a confusing post. It did not boot the first time..when I changed the monitor it booted..probably did the first time but I could not see anything.

So far I like the AOpen board. It seems like it has more options in the bios. I like the batteryless design..documentation says it is to save resources!! Maybe I would believe that but the board has a battery on it! I guess it is like the jumperless design..with three jumpers on the board<g> I wonder what part of 'less' is misunderstood. Perhaps it means less vs more<g>

opps..once you start using synthetic ( on a new engine at least) not good to go back to crude. So I'm told..

I still have it in the engine. I believe the mileage gain had been associated to the synthetic in the rear end!

Are the external bays available? Isn't there room enough to run ribbon cabling? I'm not sure just what the problem is. If theres no room for fixed mount drives then the same would be true for removables..no?

The three externals are full..CD, ZIP and PCMCIA. There is room for some internal drives but I lose the removable option...ARGH:( Three externals is not my idea of a high end machine.
