Mamma is just a yapping to one of her best girl friends last night, and the gal just started crying uncontrolibly, said she had another call coming in an hung up. She had been a neighbor across the field and our kids played together in the woods, at the lake and down at the creek...her husband had left her and she was a strong Mom bringing 2 kids up on her own. Less then a year ago...August 98, she got involved with a Man, she called him 'Dan Honey', her idol...good strong person...stout man he married her. He just lifted her off her feet and took her away. My kids were sad, because there aren't many to play with around here. But they got over it like kids do, and every couple months or so we've had their kids over, or they've had ours. Man has an inoperable brain tumor and was giving 8 months to live. I don't know what it is...I was justa beaming over NetB@nk and making some grand moves around here for us...and I get humbled....like there is a reason to it. IS THERE? Yes there is....COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS...I've got to figure out how to explain this to my kids, and at the same time look a dying man in the face tomorrow. I don't know what young dying men look like...I'm scared.
