Michael,

I read this piece on BGP and I think he's right. Aside from the cash flow issue, which I don't know enough about to comment, his comment about the web site is on target.

I own a significant amount of BGP and I don't regret buying it; I like their stores, but their web site leaves a lot to be desired. To put it bluntly, it sucks the big one.

I know that they stated that they won't pour money into the Internet, but let's face it, it doesn't take that much money to improve their web site. I think whoever is in charge of that division of BGP should seriously consider what that Fool was saying in terms of reviews (and lots of them) on the same page, links, upselling, etc.

For example, I'm look at a book on Options by Scott Fullman, and there is no review or anything. Little improvements like this goes a long way.

I used to shop AMZN, because I think they have the best site on the net out of the big three. However, my lastest purchases have been with BGP because I own them. Prices, I've found, are similar between the 3 for most books. However, once I'm no longer an investor I'd be damn if I shop with BGP if their site remains the same.
