TCMS: some folks seem to want to keep the lid on this stock. Every time the stock climbs ever so slightly the shorts start applying downward pressure.

Artic, I doubt the shorts are the problem. Probably people who bought sub-3. Most brokers won't accept shorts under $5.

The thing about TCMS is that damn book value. Its been in the 11-12 range for 3-4 years. I can't understand why they wouldn't be bought out if that is a true value. Hell, they were as low as 2. About 2/3 of book is in PP&E and my concern is whether that represents actual salvage value or simply replacement cost. Could be a huge difference there. I sure would like to see some news about business conditions, backlogs, new contracts, anything. A very low-profile microcap that rarely says anything. The lack of news bothers me because I think if they had positive news, it would have come out. I do feel that they should be one of the early beneficiaries of a pick-up in the patch.
