HOOOOOOWDY, Back from the Beach!!!!
Had a GREAT time with my 6 yr old son buildin' sand castles and jest horsin' around! It was great fun! My wife tells me that at least one of yall (Zonk), actually had the nerve to bring my children into this conversation. Zonk.....We have all been takin' shots at each other and sometimes it's actually comical the way the banter resembles a fast movin' ping-pong game. Actually, sometimes it can be quite exhilarating...Definately gets the adrenaline pumpin', ya know. I'm going to assume that you really didn't mean any offense to my children by your statements, but I would appreciate you trying to show a bit more respect in the future....I have always been willing to field each and every one of your messages and actually would like to continue hearing from you, Janice, Mr Ady, Jeffrey Mitchell, Tide Glider and all the rest as long as you all at least play by some decent set of rules. Please, we may have VERY different views on this company, but let's try to leave the kids out of it, OK?
Now, lets get to what the truth really is......Ready? None of us know ANYTHING about each other. We get online, become verbally familiar with each other and suddenly we start acting as if we're long lost friends or enemies. We get caught up in this verbal sparring and begin to lose sight of the fact that if the TRUTH were actual known, we could ALL be dead wrong about any of the things we exclaim that we are so righteously committed. I am as guilty of it as any poster to this or any other board. Whether we are of sufficient character to admit to this truth is, to me, what is relevant to this or any other board.
My reasons for posting the way I have been for the last couple of weeks, was to prove a point to all involved in this extremely important endeavor that we all (myself included) are apparently so willing to take for granted. My point? I could have just as easily joined the ranks with Janice Shell, Jeffrey Michell, Mr. Don Ady, Tide Glide etc., etc. and made just as good of case on their behalf as I believe I have FOR ABFG! I came to this board as a shareholder of ABFG, because I had done enough DD to convince me that it was worth the financial risks of investing in OTC BB issues. When I first arrived, I was looking forward to some mature conversation on investment strategies and methods of performing DD in this very unstable environment (OTC). What I saw was bickering, accusations, personal attacks and even borderline (and not so borderline) slanderous statements mixed with a touch of sanity. At the time, it appeared to me that the table was heavily tilted to the side of the "so called" bashers and I couldn't understand how people could make some of the statements they were making against ABFG and in particularly Mr. Sklar, without so much of a single conviction to indicate guilt or intention of this individual. To date, the ONLY thing that I have found or has been brought to my attention that could possibly be considered a "concern" about Mr. Sklar happened over a decade ago and even that event was evidently not important enough for him to be convicted of anything. He served a small suspension and has his own explanation of that event that I'm going to allow him the dignity and respect necessary to explain in a public forum. This event will occur on May 15th and I will reserve judgement until that time.
As for the rest of my DD - At literally EVERY turn, ABFG has been more than cooperative and in many cases have gone out of their way to make sure I received the answers to all my questions and concerns. When talking to other companies that have been associated with ABFG, the references have all been outstanding, including the agency that has handled their "books" for the last year and a half. I know they pay their bills! I know that every time they have stated publicly that they were about to do something, they did it. Every time they stated they were going to open a new store in their mall, they did it. Each and EVERY store is operational and you can in fact visit these stores and take your credit card and purchase product and it is delivered at a more than competitive price. That's functionality, consumer value and satisfaction. That is what any "successful" company MUST do in order to thrive. ABFG does it. I have not heard of one single complaint about their products, service or the value they offer their customers. Not one! Please correct me if I'm wrong. Has anyone else? This tells me a lot. The company delivers.
This leads us to the "tangible assets" question and the issue of the validity of their holdings (specifically Madagascar facilities and properties). I recently posed a rather direct question to them in this regard and received an acceptable answer that has convince me to allow them a grace period in which to resolve this matter in a legal and proper manner to their shareholders and the public at large.
I believe that there will soon be enough legitimate information and documentation about this matter to resolve most people's concerns. I say most because some people will never be convinced no matter what this company does. That's only natural I suppose. Again, I am willing to wait a reasonable amount of time for this event to occur and I believe May 15th is a reasonable date. Quite frankly, if it doesn't occur on or before that date....As Kowboy would put it..."I'm outta Dodge!" If it does occur and proves to be handled in a professional manner and the evidence indicates to ME that this company has again proved legitimate...As Kowboy would put it.....
"Yeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw! Hi-Ho Silver and awaaaaay!" This seems fair to me and I "think" all shareholders of ABFG should be willing to give THEIR company the same opportunity.
Janice Shell, Jeffrey Mitchell, Mr. Ady, Tide Glide, Zonkie and all the rest....You have provided us with some valuable questions and information that we are all individually responsible for discerning and forming an opinion from and for that much, I say, "thank you".
I must say I have seen things posted by Janice and others that indeed did post red flags in ABFG's yard and I have had to do my own DD to a sufficient manner to satisfy those concerns. At this point I believe that I have done just enough to enable my conscience to feel good about placing my families financial backing into American Benefits Group and their management team. Could my DD be wrong? Absolutely! Could Janice, Jeffrey and the rest be right....Absolutely! The truth is I don't know. But, the truth ALSO is, that I feel right about this investment for MY family.
I have formed my opinion and will continue to keep this thread and RB informed on all pertinent information or details that my own DD uncovers. I hope you will do the same and we all will do so with respect for each other and out of true concern that accurate information is disseminated to shareholders and potential shareholders alike.
In closing, I would like to say that all of us that are truly concerned about this investment (naysayers included) would have to agree that the best possible scenario for ALL parties would be for this company to turn out to be the best thing since Vincent Cerf. It would be the ONLY way that we would ALL win. If the naysayers are interested in protecting the shareholders from a scam, what a better way than for their DD to actually uncover that this company is for real? It takes a grinding stone to sharpen a knife! Let's grind!
