I don't understand why you create a mystery. You no doubt talked to Mrs. Arlene Crawford. Your post says: "There will be an announcement of a deal between NYRR and a major railroad within a day or so, according to a source at NYRR." A deal could be an interchange agreement like signed with NS last year. Or it could be a $50 a share buy out by CSX, or a settlement for $9 billion with Conrail. Did you ask which RR? Did she refuse to tell you? Did she say it was a secret? Did you have a conversation or just respond, "Uh huh" to everything she told you? Come on, you must have been a little bit curious. You also posted, "The source also discussed several other deals in the works!" Discussion implies two way interchange. What was the nature of the discussion? How many other deals? Who are they with? Are they railroads, shippers, collaborators like STI? You have not shown interest on this thread before. What prompted you to call NYRR in the first place? This is a message board to SHARE information. Why are you teasing us? 246810
