Al: Agree in toto with you...except the AT&T part...feel that it will either be AT&T or Lucent. Yes...am aware of Ericson meeting...did an analysis on Ericson books...don't think they can come up with enough $$$ to be viable. That leads me to believe that an "American" concern will either of the above will "Buy out" 3com and sell off the Palm to Microsoft. Shareholders would be in a "win-win" in this type of sell off. Of course, one cannot overlook the factor that 3com will do a major restructure of MGMT...as I have been stating. A lot hinges on how well Claflin can reduce operating costs during the next two qtrs. Shareholder value has to reach into the upper 30's prior to summer. If PC sales begin to increase...3com will certainly increase in value. The fact that IBM reported strong earnings and an increase in Computer sales is a plus for 3com. If Dell comes in with an increase in sales...then this will also be a positive for 3com. Volumn at this point to me should be the "focal" point. Advice to all shareholders..
increase position and remain "patient"!

Good luck,
HKirby
