REDWOOD CITY, Calif., April 22 /PRNewswire/ -- BroadVision, Inc.
(Nasdaq: BVSN), the leading supplier of one-to-one e-business
applications for relationship management for the extended enterprise,
today reported record financial results for the quarter ended March
31, 1999. Revenues for the quarter were $18.5 million, an 83% increase
over revenues of $10.1 million in the first quarter of 1998, and a 15%
increase over revenues of $16.0 million in the fourth quarter 1998.
The net profit for the period was $2.9 million, or $0.11 per diluted
share, compared to a net loss of $0.5 million, or $0.02 per diluted
share, in the year-earlier quarter and compared to a net profit of
$2.1 million, or $0.08 per diluted share, in the fourth quarter of
1998.

Solutions Group of Cisco Systems as an applications partner and
announced an OEM agreement with Macromedia, Inc., to resell
Macromedia's Dreamweaver 2 as the exclusive Web authoring tool for the

Software Inc. (NASDAQ:PVSW), a leading provider of software that
radically simplifies Web and distributed-application development,
deployment, and maintenance, today reported that revenues for the
third quarter ended March 31, 1999, increased 64% to a record $16.0
million, compared to $9.7 million for the same period last year. Net
income for the quarter increased 68% to a record $1.4 million or $0.09
diluted earnings per share, compared to $814 thousand or $0.05 diluted
earnings per share for the same period last year. Excluding
amortization of intangibles related to acquisitions, net income for
the quarter increased 102% to $1.6 million or $0.10 diluted earnings
per share.

Recently, Pervasive launched an initiative with Macromedia to offer
Tango Objects for Macromedia's Dreamweaver(TM) 2, allowing Tango
developers to build applications in Dreamweaver's visual environment,
and allowing Dreamweaver developers to easily embed Tango database
content and functionality. "The integration of Tango and Dreamweaver
provides developers with increased functionality and shortens
development cycles for faster time to market for their applications,"
