REDWOOD CITY, Calif., April 22 /PRNewswire/ -- BroadVision, Inc. (Nasdaq: BVSN), the leading supplier of one-to-one e-business applications for relationship management for the extended enterprise, today reported record financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 1999. Revenues for the quarter were $18.5 million, an 83% increase over revenues of $10.1 million in the first quarter of 1998, and a 15% increase over revenues of $16.0 million in the fourth quarter 1998. The net profit for the period was $2.9 million, or $0.11 per diluted share, compared to a net loss of $0.5 million, or $0.02 per diluted share, in the year-earlier quarter and compared to a net profit of $2.1 million, or $0.08 per diluted share, in the fourth quarter of 1998.
