Hector...you might appreciate what happened to me last night.

I was reading the Yahoo AOL message board (a waste of time actually), and somehow I clicked on the wrong thing and ended up wandering aimlessly through messages. Then I found one that seemed to be predicting much lower prices, and I was about to reply to it:

Here is the message:

stock price sky high
by: playing4money

With the stock price in the high 80's this give this service a market cap. of 8 BILLION dollars, with no earnings. Of the ten million customers they have how many are there for a free look? The direction on-line access is going in this area is with roadrunner for faster access, or phone companies direct lines. With either of those alternatives there are many search services you can use. I'd be afraid of this stock price here, tell me why I should buy all the hype, somebody is a beliver the stock goes up everyday. Who"s left out there to buy at this price?

Then I realized this message was from 12/97. Split adjusted, those shares now cost $640/share.
