Corel Targets Microsoft With WordPerfect Office 2000 Transcript of Web chat with vendor product manager By Michelle Pepe New York 6:30 PM EST Tues., Apr. 20, 1999 Corel Corp. is revving up to ship WordPerfect Office 2000 in a couple of weeks and plans to get aggressive in boosting market share. The company also is redoubling its efforts in vertical markets and is developing a Linux version of the suite that could ship later this year. Don't expect a Macintosh version any time soon, however.
