Don't thank me, thank AMD! They posted the information about the need to make changes to Pentium compatible mother boards on the FAQ for K6! I will guarantee you that Intel does not need Advanced Information links; they will get it done and release it instead of simply talking about it. These guys have done nothing but talk about how they will have a product competitive with last year's Intel product. Meanwhile, Intel is preparing to release the next generation in massive quantities and in every conceivable package and voltage requirement. They cannot waste their energy defending their legacy systems against pests like AMD who have a proven track record of failure.
