And the conclusion from the collapse of the grossly overinflated prices is precisely what?

WHEN the Internet stocks collapse will this also mean that the Internet is a scam/fraud/whatever?

Or perhaps, just perhaps, are these price gyrations of financial "assets" the early warning signs of something else? Like perhaps Wall Street has a good time running stuff into the stratosphere.

And as always (since it's never been answered)... what is the connection between over hyped stock prices & the common practice of using two digit years in train loads of software over the past 50 years?
