Mr. Wingman, I beg to differ. Right now I would bet that T is trying not to piss off MSFT in their effort to outbid Comcast for UMG. In the end, T and MSFT will do business together. That's the only way this deal gets done.

T cannot afford a bidding war. T's stock is already severely extended and Armstrong could not afford a war with Comcast that is funded by MSFT.
