Jill, Intel is one company that has such a great brand name that any biz that they enter has a high chance of success. The stock is at a low PE as well. I don't consider AMD as much of a challenger to them. In fact AMD is helping them keep away the anti-trust gangs. It is almost like they benefit from the existence of AMD----Intel does not allow them to any inroads in the high margin high end chips.
