Brian: You ask "Are you in or not? Or are you here to provoke some thoughts only? Or are you short?"
In reverse order: I am NOT short. Yes, I DO want to provoke thought. And no, I am NOT in, though I owned Globalstar for several years before nailing down gains prior to Zenit, and before the ongoing worry caused by Iridium's morass made the market cautious on the group. No, I am not clairvoyant...I've had losers, too.
I know I am functioning as a lightning rod for everyone's anger when posing critical questions about Globalstar, but having believed in the company once, I'm looking for reasons to believe again. The troubles of Iridium are likely to continue, though, and it's hard to see institutions becoming involved in this group as a category of investors until real cash flow occurs. When it does, I suspect there will be plenty of time to get on board... and I probably will.
To anyone on the board who's become annoyed by these posts, I apologize. I like an intellectual challenge, and this industry poses a lot of very good puzzles...
Yours truly,
