I mean, the U.S. federal authorities, by allowing a wild, free, and unleashed trade of rifles, pistols and guns, are shaping --I should say: fostering-- a VIOLENT mindset for the American people.
Indeed, it's the American culture AS A WHOLE that's GUN-SHAPED! Hence, it's particularly destructive for youths, morally speaking, to live and breathe in a country that makes no difference between an ice-cream and a submachine gun...
It's one thing to live with a movie industry that promotes violent/hate crime stories, or to live in a country plagued with ghettoes, poverty and crimes. Yet, it's another one to galvanize such a criminal environment by allowing the free flow of lethal weapons.
Americans have been brainwashed by the NRA propaganda: the worst of these NRA myths is to make people believe that their very security and freedom depend on their futile, childish entitlement to carry a gun!
