I can give you a longer list of examples on all levels if you really want it but I think you know it to be fact.


Having worked for the government for twelve years, I have recently found that dealing with the government is much easier than the average major American retailer, where customer service vanished long ago.

Immigration and customs fall under the Department of Justice, not State. I can't speak to how they behave.

Just one thought - when government employees are tarred and feathered with one large brush by people who lump all 2 million of us together, they tend to take a negative view toward the people doing the tarring. Your attitude is ultimately self-defeating.
