Jim,

I checked Bloomberg and there is not much about management. The only outside director appears to be the head of a law firm. The thing that struck me about your comment to Kerry was Since all the principals are dentists. Fwiw I consider that a bit of a red flag. I get involved with a number of private equity deals and one thing that always concerns me is when management are all 'technicians'. You need to see some actual trained businessmen. Otherwise you wind up with bad cost control etc. This is not to say they are bad guys just that that kind of insularity is something to be cautious about.

I did a quick survey of HPLX and am curious as to why you are interested in this company. I don't doubt their honesty but their return on assets and equity and their margins are pretty mundane. In addition the stock has gone pretty much sideways for a decade. Also why did they get delisted from small caps last year?
