Brokerage Nightmare!!! In early Feb., I started trying to move holdings from my financial advisor's firm--Pershing thru Linsco Private Ledger--to an on-line account. I wanted to trade; couldn't do it through him. Starting March 1, everything was lined up, good to go.

To make a long story short, despite repeated promises to transfer, they STILL hold over $100K of my stock. Through malice, incompetence or both, they have not complied.

Question: any advice on specific threats or actions that my attorney (a generalist)can make as I seek damages?

Pershing, Linsco Private Ledger
