Dragon withdraws its registration statement, so a plausible guess is that Seagate will end up owning more than their current 38% (for better or worse):

Voice recognition software developer Dragon Systems said it is withdrawing its IPO
registration statement so it can negotiate a possible strategic investment.

''At this time, we believe it makes more sense to accept strategic corporate investments to
accelerate our growth, and to allow us to capitalize on the huge growth potential of the speech
market and result in an even more successful IPO in the future," said Dr. Janet Baker, the
chief executive of Dragon Systems.

Shares of Seagate Technologies (SEG: news, msgs), which owns 35 percent of Dragon, fell
3/4 to 28 1/4.
