OK, I've nibbled, and here's why... Good pedigree: NETP lists Winblad and Vulcan among its venture backers. And London Pacific's San Francisco venture outfit, BICC, has a great list of tech companies it's backed. Second, it lists Amazon and Bertelsmann as customers. Bertelsmann, which is HUGE in the book world, has selected NETP for its online website. IMO, this technology is perfect for book-buying customers. (Bertelsmann and Barnes&Noble share barnesandnoble.com.) And I think the same logic applies to selling CD's over the web and NETP already has a bunch of CD sellers, such as CDnow, as customers.
