SO, regarding possible breakouts: amzn, which i trade regularly, has broken out to a new high today. keep in mind that this is the e-commerce leader. like i said, this advance looks like a candidate for a blow-off top, in which case people will indeed in retrospect be amazed at how far it actually went. at some point of course the mother of all bear markets will follow, like night follows day. in the meantime though, barton biggs may get even more befuddled...<gggg> regards, hb
