balance. patience. You are no more doomed now than crash was a certainty last week. Value investing means taking a long view. In the case of puts it means a long term program like MB does. Setting a put budget. Not putting it all up at once. Always monitoring risk that you might be wrong. Never believing that you know what the timing is. Remember what Graham said about Mr. Market. He said that Mr. Market was looney toons. A ranting, raving lunatic. And he said what his price was and almost always you ignored him and stuck to your own personal model of value. Only in the long run does the value approach work.
