Chris, I disagree. A major part of growing up is finding out who you are. That is largely accomplished through creativity and self-expression. How you dress is sometimes a large part of that process. Forcing a dress code on kids will not eradicate class pressure in terms of status and disruptions. Limiting creativity and self expression will not keep repressed reprobates like the kids in Colorado from doing untold damage on unsuspecting students. finding ways to enhance creativity and self expression may give these kids enough of a release to keep them from one day exploding.
