How many people now own scanners for their home computers ?
They are not cheap. My own situation: 2 kids, it costs $6 for a roll of film $10 processing plus the cost of a scanner to get them on the web for friends and family. I could easily blow hundreds of $$ on pictures this summer alone. Add to that the aggrevation of piles of pictures and duplicates... Digital looks better every day. Add to that the ability to re-take pictures "get you finger out of your nose, stop making faces..." I'm first in line when they get the technology stabilized. Plus no need to get a scanner.
